A Summer afternoon in Schwarzsee

Mwahaha

I just got back from dinner at Hazwani with my parents + adik, Haikal, Shai, Hakim, Ridhwan, Fadzli Cins, Harun and Ahmad. Well we sat at separate tables, of course. I wouldn't wanna imagine if all of us were at the same table. The awkwardness would be too overwhelming. I sat with Shai and Haikal for a while (while waiting for the rest to arrive) and moved back to sit with my parents when my food arrived.

My sister: OMG kak! Hakim really like teddy bear!!!

So while in the car back home, my mum asked where all of them stayed.. So I said those that I know la..

Me: Ahmad lives in eunos, Haikal in Woodlands-ish, Hakim in the east-ish..

-after 5 minutes-

My sister: Eh kak! This is a great riddle, sempena your science fac people speak bad english.

Me: What?

My sister: Who knows where Ahmad stays? ... EUNOSSS!!!! (You knows)

Hahahahaa!

Then while we were in the lift back home, everyone was so quiet until -out of a sudden- my mum said:

"Eh Di (short for Daddy) dulu Amylia baby you cebokkan dia kan?"

WTH!!!!!!!!!

WHAT a RANDOM STATEMENT!

Lucky we didn't sit together just now, my friends and my family! Who knows what else my mum would have said!!!

Arts Day!

Today is Wednesday. Wednesday is ARTS day for me! all my lessons today are in Arts.. 8-10 German lecture, 10-12 German tutorial (THATS 4 HRS OF GERMAN, BALLS!) then a 2-4 Singapore Society Lecture.

German Tutorial was SO much fun. Well the company. I had Adi and HoShan in my class! Frau Whats-her-Name wasn't very interesting. I would have preferred Frau Punkt-punkt ANYTIME man.

Then came SS lec, where Mukmin and Hafihz sat next to me. Mukmin, mukmin. WHERE exactly do I start.

Mukmin: Oh kau baru balik Switzerland? Which part did you go? I'm from Switzerland you know. I'm from the Italian speaking part.

Me: -gives whatEVER face-

Mukmin: Aper? Tak percaya eh? Let me tell you my family history. My family name is actually Giovanni. You know during the World War 2, Switzerland was neutral and all. And Mussolini was spreading his facist regime? So my nenek and datuks fled to Swiss.

Hafihz and I PRETENDED to be interested in his story and nodded regularly throughout the course of his story.

Me: Oh, is that so? So which part of Switzerland did you live in?

Mukmin: Excuse me! Its called CANTONS okay. And I lived in the Italian speaking part.

Me: YA LAH WHICH CANTON!

Mukmin: Its called Par-ser-deee-nah. (emphasis on the dee) [Me: BEDEK SEH. NO SUCH PLACE!] Really! So I think I want to go exchange also lah, you know, go back to my Italian roots. Rimas ah, sini, being around Malays. (padahal sendiri melayu)

And he starts blurting out Italian words, or at least speaking in an Italian accent for a good 15 minutes or so.

Freaking funny lah!

Me: What?! Do I look like a nerd to you?!

Mukmin: -zero hesitation & very coolly- Ya. Aper seh soalan macam gitu. Buat perangai eh?

Then when lecture ended,

Hafihz: Guten Tag!

Me: uhhh. Okay, same to you..

Mukmin: -sneezes- GESUNDHEIT!

Me: -in all niceness and sincerity- Mukmin, when you sneeze, -I'M- supposed to be the one saying GESUNDHEIT. Not you. You don't exactly say it to yourself.

Mukmin: -gives me the most whatever face in the world- Eh, WHAT-EVERRR eh. People in Pasedeenah do it this way okay!

And I thought people in pasedeenah speak italian.

HAHAH!!! OMG!!! He's TOO funny!! *cough* Ain awards nominee *cough*

Out with the SAtays!

Finally after 29384923874923874 years I get to see my lovessss!

Well we had lunch at Sakura and sat around at Lido.

We were sitting at Lido and no one wanted to buy drinks. So...

Check out Irwan showing off his Vocab. And Physics knowledge that he probably returned to Mr Ong.

Haha! We went to Zohor and parted ways. Irwan asked me to Borders, and while we were walking there, Baba and Hirmy wanted to go to Birkenstocks!

Geram man, all the birkies!

Went to Borders after that to get Irwan's book. Man, he actually READS now la. Impressive stuff, NS.

LONG day!

Had my first Pharma lab today. We looked at molecules and built them on this funky software called PCModel. Well but 3 hours of looking at butane, butene, cyclopropane and fiddling around with their bond rotations and checking out the torsional strain and energy is not fun okay.

I died after the lab session.

Anyway something in Pharma lect that's worth mentioning. You know how this Pharma module is a level 3 mod, means we year 2 chem people will be competing with year 3 PHARMA students. In lecture, its quite disheartening la, since the pharma students will be shouting out drug names and we chem students will be blur to the max.

So today Prof talked about R,S configuration. And she asked "so is this part ok?"

Someone from the back shouted "NO!!!!"

So PRof said "Whats wrong?"

The same voice, in an extremely exasperated tone said "WHAT is R and WHAT is S?!?!?!?!?!"

AMIKKK KAUUUU OBATTTTT!!!!!!! I was smiling with pride ah, that for once, we know something they don't! hahah. Jahat eh. And Kheng Aik who was seated beside me was like "WALAO R,S also duno!!!!" YESSAAAHHH.

Anyway, Mummy's back from Australia! WOOHOO! Home cooked food at last!

So romantic right! Still hold hands! Walao I'm so jealous. Make sure when i'm 80 my husband still holds my hand in public. Okay lets not think so far, and settle the husband part first. haha.

Anyway, my last entry about me watching and rewatching Hady's performance on YouTube... haha I'm not the only one! Fatma's doing it too! YES LA shes a jon convert! Anyone can see that Hady deserves to win it! YEY!

Then Haikal just told me that he's watching it too! hahaa!

I think Fatma is really really in love with Hady la. She just asked me if i'm going to Westmall to catch them tomorrow! OMG!!!! HAHAHA BAIK FATMA!!!!!

Anyway last night I could have slept early, but NOOOO. I chose to have a little fun with Photoshop and I did the Yellow Submarine thing for MS Exco. One hour gone, balls and I slept at 2am because of that. Haha!

Its SO badly Photoshopped, btw. Haha so dont shoot me okay. It was done out of pure boredom.

Okay dahlah. Enough airtime. Nites all!

HADY!

Hady totally rocks my socks man. I can't stop watching and rewatching his performance last night. Totally meltable! I think its very clear la, if Singaporeans aren't biased, that Hady will win. He's like the best among all, so yup.

ANYWAY, moving on to other stuff, I was at YIH workspace today, duh. Workspace is like my second home on campus la, you wanna look for me, just go workspace man. High probability I'll be there.

Yup so anyway, I was walking back to Workspace from the toilet zafter taking ablution and Lina (not my sister lah) was behind me. So when we were taking the telekungs and sejadahs,

Lina: Hey! I like your jeans! Not that I was staring at your butt or anything, but the design at the back pocket is nice! Where did you get it? Topshop? Dorothy Perkins?

In my mind: WOW!!!!! Dorothy perkins man!! Haha! Padahal less than 30 bucks at -insert shop name-

Me: Haha! No lah!!! Do I look like I get stuff from Topshop OR Dorothy perkins? I'm such a cheapo! I got it for -insert price- at -insert shop name-!!

Lina: WOW!!! Haha, don't worry man, you're talking to Miss This Fashion!

TOTALLY!!!! hahaha.

haha!

OMG LA! MSN is totally getting on my nerves! Halfway through my chats I couldn't send messages! But sometimes it would get sent over. Sickening part was that, the proper words I typed DIDN'T get sent over, but when i just randomly press my keyboard, the thing gets sent over! Means the poor person chatting with me suddenly gets a

amyy says:
sdkfhjskjhfsjkhf

for nothing!

Sickening.

(I have no idea why my orange font is blur, but it was a random string of letters, and it got sent thru)

So I got so frustrated and logged off. Heh.

----

Was chatting with Adi and he sent me a list of the songs-of-the-day that we had in Switzerland! Its like some weird disease. One of us will start singing one song, and after that most of us will start singing it, cause its stuck in our heads.

Totally man. I miss all of them!!!

(some never before seen footage haha)

GLORIOUS InterCity Trains!

Meet up soon guys! I can cook spaghetti, HoShan can bring microwave pasta from coop, Rebecca brings burnt maggi, Adi brings rice, Manna bri...

-sings- I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know...Please don't say you're sor...

HAHA! Song of the day!

Pour toi.

If you, if you could return
Don't let it burn, don't let it fade
I'm sure I'm not being rude
But it's just your attitude
It's tearing me apart
It's ruining everything

I swore, I swore
I would be true
And honey so did you
So why were you holding her hand
Is that the way we stand
Were you lying all the time
Was it just a game to you

But I'm missing you
You know I'm such a fool for you
You've got me wrapped around your finger, ah
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to, do you have to let it linger

Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong, I was wrong
If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie
Things wouldn't be so confused
And I wouldn't feel so used
But you always really knew
I just wanna be with you

family comes first. always.

Well I just had one of the best days ever.

First german lecture today was a ball of fun! Frau Verry (pronounced Fffferry, since she's such a phonetics enthusiast, but I say it Verry haha) HAS to be the cutest Lehrerin alive.

Had breakfast @ Macs with Ahmad after German where I met THE hottest guy alive there. :D:D Thanks Ahmad. Haha.

After which Ahmad and I joined the rest at YIH to visit Yusfizah's dad at NUH. We made him a fruit basket (which its picture I cannot upload because Blogger is trying to be funny with me).

Anyway it was extra emotional for me because the walk to NUH reminded me very much of the times I would go to NUH after school (back then in SAJC) to visit my arwah nyai. The lobby, the fruit shop, the smell, everything felt and looked the same.

I pray for Yusfizah and her family, that He will keep them strong and I pray that her father gets well soon. Well it just pained me to be in the ICU, looking at her dad, with 101 tubes here and there, very thin and frail. I really couldn't contain my tears.

We left shortly after because we had lectures at 2pm at assorted places.

I made my way to Workspace to work on the questions that Prof went through during 61 lecture, which I unfortunately fell asleep in. Heh heh.

Stayed around workspace for a bit and we left for dinner-- Hakim, Haikal, Banz, Muzzy, Atikk and I. Ate at Hazwani's. I mean, where else right. Haha. But it was the company that mattered because it was great. Heh.

Now's close to two because I itchyly went to watch Click (thanks Kamal) when I SHOULD be sleeping. Know what. Its like the best movie ever. I seriously cried like a baby la. Macam bodoh, nangis seorang. But it was SO sad! I can't imagine someone NOT crying la. I'm seriously is such a ______ mood right now. 3948729387429387492387 emotions all at once.

On another note, Kate Beckinsale is some serious hot stuff.

Family comes first. Always.

That, my friends, is MY lesson of the day. In more ways than one. :)

im in a funky mood today.

Today I went shopping with my dad! So fun lah! He had to stock up on perfume, so we went in search for a new scent. He bought Burberry's! And... I splurged on a 100ml bottle of Escada goodness. Actually I was torn between Elizabeth Arden and Escada. I think I will have to eat grass for the rest of the month. For two months.

Okay well now at least I will smell delectably harum(-er than I already smell).

I was bumming around the house the whole day, reading the Soci coursepack. Some interesting stuff I've got there, actually. Until I received a sms from Dazril saying that Buble was on Starworld!!!!!!!!!!

THANK GOODNESS LA. I ALMOST forgot about the Buble: Caught in the Act thingum.

(on sms)

Me: Mann, Buble is some serious hot stuff.

Dazril: Haha ya balls. amazing voice, much like mine actually. muakak

Urhh. I almost fainted after reading the sms actually.

Slenger gilssss.

As the title suggests, I've pretty much had a fruitful day.

After school today, I stopped by Watsons' to get face wash since I've just run out of it. Face wash is like the most important thing evahhh! So anyway, I'm the kind of person who makes a Watsons' visit a shopping spree because isn't Watsons' just great? They have like everything so you're just tempted to buy stuff you don't exactly need.

So anyway I took two bottles of my fave facial wash and I saw shower cream! It was nice and bright yellow so i just HAD to buy it. -facepalm-

So when I took a bath just now I took the liberty of trying out the spanking new shower cream I bought. When I put some on my hands I knew I made a HUGE mistake. I was SO distracted by the bright yellow colour of the thing that I didn't check what fragrance it was!

Guess what la!!! Its JASMINE!!!!

That means after I bathe I'll be smelling like GREEN TEA!!!!!!!!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Okay nevermind.

Well just 5 minutes ago, I felt bored so I went online searching for pictures to use as my display pic.

Because I think Mike Delfino is hot, I went in search for his picture. Thing is, I forgot what his real name was so I made a blind guess. I know it starts with a J, and his last name starts with D. So I tried John Dalton. But WTH!!! The search results I got were along the lines of "great chemist, physicist.."

WOW SINCE WHEN WAS MIKEY A CHEMIST?!

Then I realised, John Dalton was the dude who came up with the Atomic Theory that we learnt in Chemistry!! Haha! No wonder la, the name familiar.

THIS is John Dalton! (Hardly what I was searching for)

OMG LAAAAAA!!

Mike Delfino's real name, my friends, is James Denton.

Haha!

Khibrah 06!

Welcome tea was today, and it came and went. Well I thought it went pretty smoothly considering the rushed planning and whatnots.

OH yes, and I forgot to mention the amazing, faint-inducing turnout! We had food for 80, but 1 hour into the welcome tea and people were still streaming in! Mr PD says the count HAD to reach 100. Wow! Totally a remarkable achievement, YESSAAHHH. Alhamdulillah, I mean.

Well we had the quantity, I hope the freshies felt the quality as well. Some of them were impressed that we actually had ice cream! Amashammmm.

Finally met Adlina and WOW WOW WOW!!! I met Rahman!!! It was super funny because for NS he was stationed at NCC HQ, and he was teasing my sister while she was rifle-ing. And then NOW, he's my junior. Ak ak ak ak. Rahman's my arwah nyai's arwah younger brother's grandson. Amashamm the relation.

After that it was socialise with freshies and camwhoring time. (I love my tudung, btw)

THE Kak Anah. I have so much respect for her la, seriously.

Lovely team B!

Best friend and I

Then Izean had a fantabulous idea.

WTH.

Muzzammil handsome seh.

AhmadSol: Okay keep a distance.
Me: Oh puh-leeze. Its not as if I'm going to peluk-peluk you. *rolls eyes*
AhmadSol: Alarrrr. Takde peluk eh?-makes kesian + sad face- Taknak ambik gambar ah gitu.

NUSMS Exco 06/07!

In the van to YIH!

The important people in my life. There's a few more not in the picture, of course. One's in PGP, one's taking the photo, one's in PBM Exco, one's...

Okay so that pretty much sums up my day today! I need Raspberry Tea!

An open letter to my best friend.

Dear Mummy,

I know you're in Australia, battling the cold, cold weather and driving to work daily with your 4L sedan. If you can bring back the car, please do. So anyway, I just want to tell you that the shoes at the door, has piled up even more now. Haha. Daddy's and Lina's too!

Also I want to tell you that I miss your cooking. The other night I fried bananas for daddy but it wasn't as good as yours, duh.

More importantly, we all miss you like crazy so please come home soon.

On a side note, my room is very very messy right now. If you see, confirm pening.

Oh don't blame me for the bottles because the Cheers store at NUS is selling the Pokka thingum at 2 for $1.90. Murah gils right.

See at least I bother to arrange them nicely.

Can you guess what my favourite flavour is? Haha.

Also, your second daughter has not changed much. Yesterday when I came back from school, she left me this on my laptop:

I woke her up but she didn't wake up.

Today, she left me this:

Its 1.39 am now and she's still sleeping.

Anyway, take care Mummy. I can't wait to fetch you from Changi Airport.

Much love and hugsss,
ME!

first day of school!

Okay first and foremost, I forgot to mention in the previous post that Skywards is the frequent flyer program for Emirates airlines. So whenever you fly emirates, you accumulate miles, based on the distance you travel and you can use your accumulated miles to redeem a free air ticket to a destination, or enjoy many of their privileges.

Anyway, today was the first day of school! Woohoo! Finally school is back and of course I wore white today, being the first day of school. Haha, its a personal routine for me actually. First day of school is a white day.

I'm super fungry now, and am about to cook instant noodles in a bit. I just got home from yet another Exco meeting.

I wasn't much in the meeting mood primarily because 4 hours of lecture (straight) is very strenuous to the brain. But I did speak when I needed to speak. Basically... okay lah, brain stuff is just for me to know. hehe.

Anyway.

I think this will be a great semester because my first two lecturers today are great. Maybe the spectroscopy lecturer could use some english courses, but other than that, its COOL.

I'm trying to think of a way that I can halal-y peluk Hakim. HAHA! He's just too cute I really cannot take it.

Ah dah lah, stomach's complaining. It was a fruitful first day of school! Yey!

------

Its one thing to blatantly lie in my face. (and STILL be SO self righteous and pretend you did nothing wrong)

Its another to only say you're sorry ONE WEEK later.

So save it for someone who actually gives a damn.

Thanks. :D

Oh happy day.

Today I am feeling extremely bitchy. Probably because of PMS, and probably because of other things that I shouldn't discuss now because then I will be bitchy again.

So lets blog about happy things!

I printed my Spectro notes today to get ready for Monday's lecture! School's starting and I'm excited!

Okay that's not exactly happy.

Ohh ohh!!!!! Guess what came in the mail today?!?!?!?!?!

My Skywards package!!!!!!!!!!

Introducing my exquisite, pretty, magnificent Skywards card!!!!!!

Oh! And guess what came along with the card?!?!

LUGGAGE TAGS, BALLS!!!!!!!

Ahhh, I love Emirates SO, SO, SO much!!! I'm EXTREMELY bummed that we're not taking emirates for the EURIP thing at the end of this year. Its between Thai, Qantas and SQ. Well I hope that we get SQ then, since I don't have the power to choose Emirates.

Fly Emirates, people!

Officially in office!

Warning: Lots of pictures, WILL suck up bandwidth. ak ak ak.

Man! Today was SO MUCH fun! Well first half of the day was Exco meeting and THEN! as all the guys changed into their formal wear and all...

They really looked good la. The girls were kecoh-ly trying to help the guys pick out THE perfect tie.

And then we made our way to LT34, where the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held. So while standing around and looking pretty (and waiting for Mahgrib) we CAMWHORED!!! (I mean, duh right. What else can we do!) WOOHOOO!!

Me-Haikal-Izean!

Me-Izean-Liza

After the first meeting, where I first met Fairuz (the above guy) I thought he sounded familiar. As in, I don't know him la, but the way he talks reminds me of someone.. But I couldn't really figure out who.

Anyway, Fairuz is 1/3 of the Orang-orang Bukit Batok! Woohoo! I just realised that Him, Banz and I live nearby each other! Noe what that means?! I don't mind late meetings anymore! Haha! I have not 1, but TWO going-home buddies! Both RI-RJ seh. Aper ni? Is it a ploy to make me feel intellectually inadequate? No la, but the two of them are cool. :D

And of course to commemorate our newly formed Bukit Batok popular group, we took an inaugural group photo!

Okay okay, I digress. So, after much chatting with Mr Doctor, I realised that he talks and sounds TOTALLY like......

HIRMAN!!!!!

Well duh, Hirman was his senior back in RI, man!

I think the most stressed of all of us HAS to be Fatma! Because while all of us are comfortably seated, enjoying the aircon, she is seated facing the audience taking down meeting minutes! Check her out, in full concentration.

And check out Hakim, the world's cutest president ever!

Aiya, so cute rightttt?? Don't you feel like hugging him????!

And then, it happened.

And Hakim gave his speech, and formally introduced all of us.

And just like that, it was over.

Team Marketing took a last photo! :( Lets not let the friendship end there, guys. Haha.

Group shots, before we parted ways for the night!

42nd exco in black and gold. 43rd in black and white.

And THEN, I got home, took off my heels and realised what a MESS it is. Ignoring the shoes that I've crossed out, the others are all MINE, that I've worn for the past few days. Lucky Mummy's in Australia and doesn't have to see the mess. Kalau tak..

WAH! I'm such a dedicated, passionate blogger lah. I spent 2 hours photoshopping, 1 hour blogging lah! When I could have slept early today! hahaa! Too excited okay.

Okay dahlah selamat. Nitess!

Welcome Tea prep!

Was in school today to do up the Welcome Tea door gifts. Haha sehr sehr schön! [okay I just wanna tell the world that I've figured out how to type umlauts in Blogger already! YEY!]

Anyhoos, it was some tedious work la. The cutting and pasting and thredding. But it was fun!

Ak ak ak.

Also, I just wanna tell the world how ADORABLE Mr President 06/07 is! Hakim is just SO cute lah. Macam nak cubit cubit je. And he's just plain HILARIOUS. You know how the NUS Muslim Soc Annual General Meeting is tomorrow? And that's where we get sworn in and stuff?

Hakim: -trying to make tak senonoh words with the welcome tea cards- Today is our last day as civillians, havoc siket ah!

CIVILLIANS!!! WOW HAKIM!

Haha! okay dah lah. I'm just so paranoid that my blouse will develop new creases, I keep ironing it every 10 minutes or so. Sheesh, I'm actually NERVOUS la to attend the AGM. Why I also duno. Its not as if I'm giving a speech man.

Okay time to sleep. Nights all.

Happy National Day!

Today on the nation's 41st birthday, my sister and I went shopping! Haha! Pity my mum whos in Mulgrave, Melbourne now..at WORK! hahahhaa. I saw her online and purposely disturbed her. "ek ehhh kesiannyerrr... National Day pun kena KERJA!!!" HAHAHAHA.

Was in town and we bumped into Ahmad at Orchard MRT. Haha I was SO shocked, I swear. Haha.

------

You know I was reading about how crappy Jacintha is as a Singapore Idol judge a few days back in the papers... Today as I watched, she hasn't changed one bit la. Sometimes I really don't know what she's talking about.

Jacintha (to Rahimah): Your passion always overrides your..-giggles- your...-smiles act cutely and placing face in between palms- your..ability to make it not so technical... -deathly silence- HAH!... Happy National Day!!!

(sorry for lousy quality cos I recorded it off a video on youtube on my Razr)

HUH?!?!?!?! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!?!?!?!

Man, they should FIRE Jacintha AND Ken Lim la seriously. Jacintha talks a whole lot of crap, and Ken has not given a single positive comment since the start of the season, and his comments are so out of point. He doesn't even look like hes even INTERESTED to be a judge, he looks bored 32948732847% of the time, then hello??!?! Just get out of there la, seriously.

Well if you ask me, I think all four judges should be fired (Dick Lee tries too hard to be like Simon to a point that its not funny and whatshername macam act cute je..), Gurmit Singh should retire, and Daniel Ong should just go back to radio. Oh, and abolish this whole Singapore Idol nonsense. Come on la. We have a population of what? 4 Million? All the talent was already in the first season so we really don't need this song-mangling fest la.

Okay la but I won't deny that I'm secretly rooting for Hady. Cos he's the only one who doesn't mangle the songs!

Okay fine I just contradicted myself. Nevermind ah, I do that all the time. You should try it too!

Ah okay dah lah. I have nothing to say for now already. I shall end this post with one of the best songs of all time. Hafie should be proud of me.

Hold up
Hold on
Don't be scared
You'll never change what's been and gone
May your smile
Shine on
Don't be scared
Your destiny may keep you warm

Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
and be on your way
and stop crying your heart out

Get up
Come on
Why're you scared?
You'll never change what's been and gone

In school!

Woke up late for the CHIP symposium today. Don't know what stupid ruling was it for all EURIP participants to attend the CHIP thing when it has nothing to do with us. Munich pun in China aper.

Anyway I just realised a crucial error I made in the previous post. Encik Ridhwan-threat-to-national-security's name is spelt this way, and not in whatever way I spelt it. HAHA.

Yesterday my sister came to NUS to meet me after the exco meeting. She had to get her research materials from the Central Library.

Sister: Wah lao Kak! The freshies all give me that "hello, what are you doing here?!?!" look when padahal I've been to NUS more times than they have!!

Getting to know youuuu

How I LOVE that song. haha! Anyway today was the first ever meeting for NUSMS Exco 06/07. As Hakim our loveable president (who baba mistook for a pillar haha) mentioned, it was symbolic in a sense that the date today was 070806. 786. Bismillah. You know.

Ah oh wells.

Well it was such a LONG meeting but seriously I enjoyed every single minute of the 8 hours we were at the workspace. 8-hour meeting, balls! Everyone, I pretty much knew, except the two freshies, Haikal and Fairuz.

I especially loved the introduction of ourselves. You know I love learning about others. And introductions are the only times you will learn something about someone that you won't get to know on a daily basis. I was busy listening to all the intros that I forgot to think about my own, so my introduction was incoherent.. something like verbal diarrhoea.

Ridzwan: I think I'm the youngest among the
guys ah. I didn't have to serve NS because I was from madrasah, so they consider
me a threat to national security. [HAHAHAHA!]

(stupid ruling, btw)

Haikal: I'm not the "Ehhh, aper
sakk..giler babi.." kind of guy ah.

Hakim: Eh eh, God-conscious
society!

So after I introed myself, Muzz, Ahmad and Banz second-ed me and they talked about how we first met. Haha! I didn't exactly recall the chemistry-lab story that Ahmad narrated because I remember the first time I spoke to Ahmad was after German class and I stupidly asked him "Eh, you're the chem guy right?!" Sigh. Of all things Amy, you say these kind of things. And I'm not as scary as he described me to be okay! hahaha. Ahmad, ahmad.

Then Banz told them the story of how we met until super dramatic man! Haha!

Banz: I didn't really talk to her ah,
until we met again...

Banz+me: On the bus!
haha!

Banz: Ya, cause we both live in bukit
batok so we take 189. We waved at each other ah, then we board the bus
and she sat infront, I sat behind.

Someone: Eh ni macam love story
ajer!

Banz: Kejap kejap! Then right, she
took out a german book, so jengjengjeng...

Hakim: Pick-up line semua keluar
ah?

HAHAHHA! SIAOOOO! There was NO pick up line, thankyouverymuch. HAHAHA! But it was super funny ah, cos I remember asking Syaban about Akkusativ and he was teaching me on the bus! That much I remember ah! Ahaha. You see la! First time I talk to people, I do stupid things! Those were some great memories lah.

Oh and to further emphasize how small this world is, prior to the meeting, about 2 weeks ago (or so) Halim told me that his CD friend, Haikal was entering NUS. I realised that it was the SAME Haikal that I will be working with!

Haikal: So any questions?
Me: Where did you go for
NS?

Haikal: CD.
Me: OH! Cos my friend told me about
you!

Haikal: Huh who? -puzzled
look-

Me: Halim!
Fairuz: Oh is he a
rugger?

OMG LA! Everyone knows everyone else!!! And later I found out that Haikal's younger sister was my sister's PartA NCO! OMG LA. This world is seriously too small.

Well I just thought today was fun, getting to know new people and knowing those that I know better. Yey, I'm beginning to love all of them already.

A time for everything.

OMG I wanna tell the whole world that I totally LOVE Kak Marjianahhhh! You know I have this NUSMS Incoming Exco Training camp thingum to attend this weekend, but laying down my priorities, I've decided not to go for the camp simply because my mum's leaving for Australia the same weekend for a MONTH! You know I'm SUCH a family person right.

(Take care Mummy, we'll miss you! :( )

I am so NOT ready to be cooking POTATO SALAD or SPAGHETTI for my dad and sister. NO WAY. I haven't even had chicken rice okay. :p

So I tried talking to an obvious outgoing exco member, but WOW, he/she was SUCH GREAT help, it resulted in me getting SO frustrated. So the next person that came to mind was Kak Anah, you know, only the most powerful woman in NUSMS ever! VP, dokk. So I dropped her an email, explaining why I can't go and all. She was SO understanding, and handled the matter so MATURELY.

Ahhh I love her!!!

"Regarding IET, it is a bit sad that you can't make it for the programme, for we would love to have you there. However, we understand your position, and it is good that you have your priorities lined up and you stick true to it, Alhamdulillah.

Regarding your absence for IET, don't hesitate to approach either any of your EXCO 06/07 members or even any of the outgoing EXCO members to share with you what the content of the camp has been, for we hope that it will benefit you all throughout your office term, insya-Allah!

Lastly, we pray that your mum will have a safe trip to and back, and may He bless your family always, Aamiin!"

She is SUCH a kakak lah. Loves it.

Much love in a day.

Since Mr Dazril-France-Phua

and I are back from france and switz respectively, we had a little meet up session along with the bestfriend today. ak ak.

Ya la, I was lamppost lah, but it was fun ah. The nonsense we talk about and the whole FUGLY clothes choosing at Topman, topshop, zara was totally something I miss man. Don't understand who'd buy such gaudy clothes which look like they came from a quilt... and they don't come cheap either. hahaa.

So we parted ways after Zohor and I went to Woodlands to meet my Marketing Darlings. Mannn, totally missed them la, but as usual, everyone was LATE, but surprisingly Diatch-miatch was early. The two boys were from campus, and it was nearing to 7 and they were still in school! tsk tsk. So we were at Gelare, (they were)eating waffles, berbual merepek ANDDDD our latest NEW hobby... BUFFING NAILS! hahaha.

It was a carnal mistake, to bring Diatch into Body Shop to get my nail buffer. Because she bought one too seeing how shiny my nails were, and she started buffing and got amazed AND so did yana AND yana bought the buffer too, which she left at Macs, hence cannot fufil her fantasies of buffing her nails when she got home. Kecoh!

Yana: Does your adik call you kakak?

Diatch: Uhh last time ah.

Yana: Last time?! So what does she call you now?

Diatch: Badak.

HAHAHHAHAHHAHA!

So after all that buffing, the guys finally came and we mahgribbed at woodlands lib, yana left for work at mercu and we went to eat at Siam Kitchen!

We are some serious camwhores man. Especially this one. She's the chief ah.

And check out my fave photo for the night!

So after dinner we walked around abit and decided to stalk yana at her workplace. It was like 5 minutes away from Causeway point, but we couldn't find Mercu anywhere under the blocks. Sesat ah. Until Sam asked some makcik. We were walking in the opposite direction! haha.

Mercu located! So we waited at a distance. The two guys waited for her to come out of the tuition centre at 930pm.

The girls? Camwhore ah, aper lagi. There was this vast land of coconut trees, and we decided to.. sigh.

Sighh. Anyway my eyes hurt right now. I'm like typing in the dark, haha. Dahlah nak tidur. Got matric fair duty tomorrow! Yey. I love going to school!
