// The aftermath of Euro 2004
Aaaah. The Euro fever is subsiding! I felt that it wasn't too spectacular a season, but hey! everyone knew that this would be the time of the underdogs, and it was. It certainly was.
I'm right back on track to preparing for my A Levels, or I hope, at least. Got back my Block Test 2 results. Not very spectacular too, i must add. Great disappointment for my Further Maths. We got back Sect B which was the statistics component. I managed a B. 69%. Still far from an A. After conducting the necessary calculations, I have to get 31.5 for sect A, the Mechanics component to actually get an A for F.Maths. That seems bleak cause everyone in the whole wide world knows that I suck at Mechanics and I'll get a single digit for it. So there.
Chem MCQ was ok -- still not up to my expectations. With a horrible sect B and C, i need a high MCQ score to at least keep my grades floating. I managed a 17, out of 20. Physics MCQ -- 19/20, Alhamdulillah. I felt like kicking myself for missing that question. I've even discussed it with Hirman before, i think. Emf induced=-dØ/dt. I forgot the negative sign, thus chose the wrong graph. ARGH.
Maths, was Alhamdulillah, I managed to get 85% but still waaaaay below my expectations. I was disappointed in myself for misreading one entire question and not labelling my graphs completely resulting in half marks being deducted here and there. Argh. That sucks.
Less than 8 weeks to the Prelims. A Levels are so close its really biting my butt. And I'm barely prepared.
