I just woke up a few minutes ago and before subuh I had this dream about my sister, which actually CONTINUED after subuh! We actually met at Ridhuan's house. (yes Ustaz Ridhuan)

This morning, my sister left for Cambodia.



It sucks that I couldn't send her off (at 5am) because I had an exam at 1pm. Needed the sleep mans.

Plus she was keeping me up all night (til 1-2am-ish?) talking nonsense and singing spanish songs. You know when you're taking a flight the next day, you can't sleep? That always happens with my sister and I! So I understood, and layan-ed her la.

Its going to be a sucky, lonely 2 weeks, with no one to sleep with. Bah.

Me: Eh. So you're going to teach the Cambodian kids English in Cambodish ah?

My sister: Kak, its called Khmer.

My sister: Oh the last few days we'll be touring the country. Going to visit some places.. One of them is this landmine thingos.

I nod my head to macam, acknowledge whatever she just said.. And my mum, being the typical mak-mak HAD to give like the most classic mak-mak advice ever!

My mum: Ingat tau, jangan korek-korek.

HAHAHA!! And the both of us just burst out laughing.

So last night I was telling my sister to remember what my mum told her about the korek korek.

Me: Ingat eh, jangan korek-korek *burst out laughing*

My sister: haha! Eh you know yesterday mummy told me again "Eh ingat tau jangan korek-korek. You ingat I cakap main main eh? Jangan korek-korek eh!"

Yep. I had my first paper today. Wasn't pretty.

Know what? I've been so behind in blogging that I have SO many photos of SO many things that I want to blog about. But macam, dah basi.

Lets see. I got so frustrated with my messy table that I actually *gasp* tidied it up a little. Baba HAS to be proud of me. I don't care. Haha.



Then yesterday while mugging for spectro I got SO bored from all the mugging that I started playing with the camera's mIcro/mAcro (?) function... Haiiyah the one that lets you take close up pictures. I had NO idea they even existed in the first place.

So I was snapping away at everything yesterday, like I was possessed by the spirit of Muzzammil or something. (the first picture of my spectro notes was taken using the function as well!)

Story #1

So my mum was telling me how her company has installed this firewall thing which blocks their access to youtube. So now everyone in her office cannot watch videos on youtube anymore..

Mum: Eh then you know the other time I went to your blog.. Then I'm like. EH! Why all white?!?! OMG I thought my company block MY COLOUR also!!!

Uhhh. Wokay. I didn't know colour could be blocked, mumz.

Story #2

So we were in German class, our last german lesson for the semester. I apologise, I should have told this story days ago, but it slipped my mind.

So anyway yeah, we were in German class and suddenly this beeping siren-like alarm reverberated throughout the class. Naturally we looked around to see where the sound was coming from.

Me: The sound's coming from the back!

The people at the back quickly checked their bags, and no one took ownership of the sound.

Baba: No ah, I think the sounds coming more from the front! Ahmad I think its yours!! Quick check!

So the boy rummaged through his bag, got hold of his handphone.

Ahmad: Its NOT my handphone!

Baba: Well maybe its from your bag!

So the poor boy rummaged through his bag again.

Ahmad: What? Did I bring an alarm clock to school today?

The class laughed.

The alarm stopped.

Frau Verry continued with lessons.

A while later, the alarm sounded again!! I mean, come ON!!! This mysterious alarm has GOT to belong to someone, right?

Baba: TSK!!! Who's is that again!?!?!

All look around again.

Me: Its from the back of the class la I think!

All frantically look around again. Until..

Baba: OH MY GOD!!! ITS MINE!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHAH!

such a TV junkie

At the rate I'm siphoning episodes of my favourite US tv series, I might as well be American.

I don't even watch TV at home anymore! Channel 5 has nonsensical shows that's just uncomparable to the quality of TV shows they have in the States. And all the good series, Channel 5 is lagging behind.

Monday is Desperate Housewives day!



Right now Season 3 stops at episode 8. Channel5/Starworld hasn't started showing it yet. When it finally comes to Channel 5, you'll realise what a bitch Edie Britt is, and maybe like me, you'll begin to feel a strong dislike for Bree.

Friday night is CSI AND Survivor night!



I only watch CSI LV. I don't really like its Miami and NY counterparts. CSI LV is now at Season 7, episode 7. Ch5/AXN has not started showing it yet. Ch5 hasn't even shown Season 6!!!! Each episode is always better than the other. Lovessss it.



Granted, Survivor CookIslands is showing on Channel 5, but its lagging by 5 episodes! Watching it un-live just takes away the suspense, because the results are floating all over the internet. You can watch Survivor on youtube. They have full episodes there. Survivor: Cook Islands is now at episode 9. Channel 5 is only at episode 4.

Harun, harun.

Today was the last day of german lessons! I brought my camera and we took photos with Frau Verry!

Wah I love my tutorial group!! Its like the first tutorial ever that I know everyone's name! I was SO heartbroken la, when Kenneth came into class and said that Yiding, the secret crush won't be coming because he was sick. BAH! (read: JOKE, geddit?!)

I went home early today, mainly because I was too lazy to go for lecture and wanted to study for Spectro test. I got off the bus, and it started raining cats and dogs. No choice la, but to walk in the rain. By the time I made it to my lift lobby, I was completely drenched. I cried black eyeliner tears.

Instead of hitting the books, I fiddled around with photoshop and the HTML on blogger and returned to the white background blog that am11 always was. 2 plus hours, dokk!

German laughs.

Today's german class was SO fun!! We learnt future tense, and we had to make sentences starting with "ich werde.." which means "I will.."

Frau Verry told us to describe to our partner, what would happen in say year 2025..

Baba: Ich werde auf dem Mond wohnen! ( I will live on the moon)

Me: Ich werde auf dem Mars wohnen, dann koennen wir Nachbar sein! (I will live on Mars, then we can be neighbours!)

Baba: Ahmad wird... tot sein. (Ahmad will...be dead)

Gamar, Baba and I erupt in hearty laughter. Ahmad was talking to his partner still. MWAHAHHA.

The subsequent dialogues, we had to use redemittel like "Ich bin ganz sicher, dass..." "Ich bin optimistisch," and we totally planned what would happen to Ahmad when he became old. We would visit him, bring kuih-kuih, baba will urut him and stuff. Right up till his funeral and how we would baca yasin for him at his grave.

Ahmad is loved. Definitely.

He didn't seem to appreciate the love though. Because he was just sitting in his seat and glaring at us, while we laugh. haha.

Hannah (ahmad's partner): How do you know them? (because we were creating quite a ruckus)

Ahmad: -frustrated and pasrah- -in a very bitchy manner- I don't know them! I only know her brother (points to gamar) and I know her by circumstance (points at me).

Pans.

After german Ahmad and I met Alfons and we went for breakfast at macs!! (so much for Ahmad wanting to DIET)

Talking about why Alfian's name on my phone is stored as "Alfian cute" (because he renamed it himself)

Me: Aiya, Ahmad has issues la.

3 years of friendship and counting.

I just spent over an hour putting all the photos together, and giving them rounded edges and white outline.

My wrist feels funny.

Anyhoos, I was supposed to be at Baba's at 9am, to pick her Trajet and drive it over to Suff's. Coincidentally (koinkidinky ah) I entered the same carriage (MRT) as the one Hirman was in. So we went to Baba's together to meet her and get the car.

We fetched Irwan at the interchange behind bukit panjang plaza and headed off to Suff's house. At the car park..



Amashammm. The guys all pre-agreed to come in the complete full set of baju melayu. Samping and songkok included, duh. Capal for some.

i LOVE my EURIP professors!!! They're so adorable! And I sent one an email yesterday asking about restaurants, with like two lines in German and he replied today in full german, that I could understand!! And he's so funny!

Abang-abang workspace

So today I had dinner with my fave abang-abang workspace. So after that Ahmadgils was gatal and wanted to eat ice cream, so down we went to hunt for desert.

Can you believe it? Cheers was out of Kinder Bueno! WHAT KIND OF 24HR MART HAS NO KINDER BUENO?!?! Okay there was ONE left, which i refused to buy, because I'm cerewet.

So out we went to NZ Natural!

While deciding what ice cream to get..



Me: OMG LA. The ice cream is calling out to me. So is the kinderbueno in Cheers.. And oh oh!! Subway cookies are calling out to me also!!!!!!

Hakim: -exasperatedly- Wow amy, it must really be noisy to be you.

WTH!!!! HAHA! Ahmad and I broke out in uncontrollable laughter. As you can see from the picture above, Hakim was playing with the topping sample bottles! So cute lah!



I tried to be as dainty as possible while eating the ice cream, but what the heck, we were 3 perakuses in the end. Mwahahhaa.

And at the end of the day, it was 1130pm and we were still in the workspace, so I offered them a ride to the nearest MRT station, so they won't miss the last train.

Me: Hakim! Nak tumpang tak?

Hakim: Nak! Bapak datang pukul berapa??? (in the most cutest fashion, macam adik-adik)

Ahmad: Eh macamlahhh bapak KAU!

Meet my new love!

I was out on jalan raya with my mum and her poly friends with their respective children. Its a yearly thing, since we were kids, and I haven't gone for the jalan raya for the past two years because of exams.

So anyway we visited the usual houses, friends, blajar friends and...

Its like fate brought us together, Nabil and I.



He's got the most gorgeous smile, and the biggest ahmad-like eyes with the curled lashes.

I'm so jealous.



He tried to bite my Razr when I tried to take a photo of him.

A few days ago I was studying at the MS table. It was very cluttered la, the huge "I ask" box was on the table too..

So Mr "I-iron-all-my-clothes-including-my-jeans" Ahmad came along.

Ahmad: WHY is the table SO MESSY?!

Me: Entahlah. Kotak ni ah.. -thinks and struggles with Malay for a while..trying to formulate a coherent sentence- Uhh.. mempunyai banyak ketempatan ahh..

Of cars and such.

You know my parents have been bickering about reverting back to a SUV.

See, before the accord, they drove a Honda CRV which basically everyone loved. It was high, it was huge it was fun! Then I don't know why, without reason or rhyme, my dad decided to make the switch back to a saloon car. He gave so many reasons, day and night until we got sick of it and finally agreed. At first we all complained about the lack of height. it was worse because my dad went to change the tyres to low profile ones, which made it even lower.

So anyway, almost one year into this Accord and they gatal want to change cars. We have this 2 year car change policy, it seems.

So today on the ride home, they were bickering again! On what car to get next (macamlah banyak nah duit). My mum wanted a Musso, I think its by Ssangyong or something..



And my dad was like NOOOOOOO..a Ford ranger is better.



I didn't know what the cars looked like until I went to search them up on the internet.

I am horrified.

THOSE AREN'T SUVs!!!!! THOSE ARE LORRIES!!!! WTH!!!!!!

Me: EW! WHATS UP WITH THE LORRY-ISH CARS?!?!

My mum: NICE! You just don't know..

My dad: Plus its 4 Wheel drive!

Me: Uhh, and what exactly do you need a 4 wheel drive for?

My dad: Its better control for uneven terrain!

Me: WOW! WHAT KIND OF REASON IS THAT?!?! The roads in Singapore banyaklahhh tak even and I'm SURE you have to drive through jungles in SINGAPORE!!!! -mortified-

Basically both of them are totally bent on these lorries, which I don't even think is nice.

Why can't they want to buy NORMAL SUVs?!?! I don't care mans. I need to save my parents from the evil clutches of these lorries. They (hopefully) won't get to buy them because car-buying and any other big decisions need the consent of all 4 of us.

I don't mind going back to the CRV, but the 2007 edition is totally hodoh. But I'm sure these SUVs are a better choice.

Toyota Fortuner. Its ginormous man. And high. WAHOO! But I don't like the pantat ah.

Okay enough about the pantats.

My point is, if my parents are SOOOOO into such lorry-ish cars, I suggest they buy this.

Its cheap(er)
It fits alot of people
and
It runs on diesel.
