Brains, brains, brains!

I stumbled upon this puzzler a few years back and I stumbled upon it again. Before I start to imagine its some divine sign or something, I'll post it on my blog.

Apparently sources claim that it was originally written by Albert Einstein. But whether it is or not, its still a very interesting puzzle. The author (aka Einstein) also claimed that 98% of the world could not solve it on first attempt. Those who could were the ones with 98th percentile IQ or higher.

What rubbish. Because while I was struggling (because I intelligently mixed up my right and left. Sheesh and I'm supposed to take a driving exam?!) to solve the puzzle (for the 2nd time, when i stubled upon it again), my younger sister solved it in under 20 minutes. And I simply refuse to believe that SHE has a 98th percentile IQ among the people in the world. Considering the fact that she didn't know that Bugis had an MRT station (okay, although that was like 3 years ago)! But still!

Yeah and in the end I gave up whilst she was happily doodling away and telling the whole house that she rocks. I did the puzzle again today, and FINALLY I solved it. But its not fair because I watched how my sister solved a portion of the puzzle.

So, have fun people. Tell me which one of you has a 98th percentile IQ too.

Get a pen and paper ready. It'll be handy.

Here goes.

So there are 5 houses in 5 different colours.
In each house lives a person with different nationality.
The 5 owners drink a certain drink, smoke a certain cigar and keep a certain pet.
No two owners have the same pet, house colour, smoke the same cigar or drink the same drink.

(you get the drift don't you)

And here are your clues.

1. The Brit lives in the red house
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets
3. The Dane drinks tea
4. The green house is to the left of the white house
5. The green house owner drinks coffee
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall raises birds (tsk don't think dirty lah!)
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
8. The man living in the house smack in the middle drinks milk
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill
12. The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks juice
13. The German smokes Prince
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
15. The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water.

The million dollar question is..........

WHO ON EARTH KEEPS THE FISH?!
Haaaappyy working.
