// Rapture

Just got back from Rapture. Probably the best I've seen so far, maybe because its the first dance concert I've been to. (fine, I'm suaku la ok.) Initially, it was never my plan to go for this concert simply because I just don't appreciate the arts. I really don't. So, my only reason for being there at the Kallang Theatre today was because of my dear Baba who was performing. Oh, and not forgetting my fellow bitch Linda as well. We made her those cards that spelt L-I-N-D-A and the reverse spelt B-I-M-B-O. Haha. Such friends we are.

I'm high, maybe even delirious. So much so that I'm actually starting to appreciate Malay music. Those who know me will know that I'm not a Malay music kinda person. But occassionally, once in a while, I'll stumble upon a Malay song that really encompasses everything I have to say. In other words, a really beautiful song. Here's one. And I know just who to dedicate it to.

Bukan Cinta Biasa

Begitu banyak cerita
Ada suka ada duka
Cinta yang ingin ku tulis
Bukanlah cinta biasa

Dua keyakinan beza
Masaalah pun tak sama
Ku tak ingin dia ragu
Mengapa mereka selalu bertanya

Cintaku bukan di atas kertas
Cintaku getaran yang sama
Tak perlu di paksa
Tak perlu di cari
Kerna ku yakin ada jawabnya

Andai ku bisa merubah semua
Hingga tiada orang terluka
Tapi tak mungkin,
Ku tak berdaya
Hanya yakin menunggu
Jawabnya…

Janji terikat setia
Masa mengubah segala
Mungkin dia kan berlalu
Ku tak mahu mereka tertawa

Diriku hanya insan biasa
Miliki naluri yang sama
Tak ingin berpaling
Tak ingin berganti
Jiwa ku sering saja berkata..

Andai ku mampu ulang semula
Ku pasti tiada yang curiga
Kasih kan hadir
Tiada terduga
Hanya yakin menunggu
Jawapan...

Wow. Amy listening to Siti Nurhaliza is like David Beckham playing badminton. Oh well. I'm high.
