Still in KL

Wow, I must have had the WORST train ride EVERRR today! We usually take the monorail to Petaling Street (cannot go because kena raid) or Masjid India from the hotel just outside Imbi station but today my mum wanted to go to some mall at MidValley. So we had to take the monorail to KL Sentral and walk to another train station to take the train to MidValley. (you know, the place they always mention on Nickelodeon's Spongebob's Birthday BOP (haha!).. "MidValley, Lingkaran Syed Putra, P.O.box....").

Gawd! When you experience the train system there, you will thank God that you are Singaporean, and living in Singapore. (Singaporean but live in KL also no use what...)

The train platform, for once, is maybe as long as our MRT platform, so that means you can wait anywhere along the platform, right, also since there's absolutely NO indication where the doors are supposed to be. BUT, HEYHEYHEY, when the train finally arrives, it is only half the length of the freaking platform! so that means the people who wait at the back half of the platform have to run run run to the front!

Wait! That's NOT all!

Okay maybe I will praise the punctuality of the trains. The signboard says the train will depart at 1247. The train arrives at 1245, if you are lucky 1243, and then as you wait at the door, people inside rush outside and people outside rush inside. BUT the people who rush inside REFUSE to move inside, they stand at the door, leaving the carriage EMPTY but clog up the entrance. So in other words as you try to squeeze into the train, the door suddenly closes. "WHY? Shouldn't the train driver see that theres still a whole BARRAGE of people trying to enter?" you ask? Yes, he can see, but, its 1247 already, the train must depart. So, in other words, you have to squeeze into the train in 2 minutes.

Wait! That's NOT all!

Squeezing in the train in 2 minutes is alright what..right? Yes, Alright if you're in Singapore squeezing into the MRT during rush hour, because the door opening is WIDE enough for at least 4 people to simultaneously go in or out. The train in KL, WOW! the door is wide enough for ONE person. In other words, if you stand at the door, no one can get in or out past you. That's how small the door opening is. And remember, you have a time limit to squeeze into the train!

Haha, whoever who designed the train system, should seriously consider going back to design school.

All train rides aside, the monorail system is great, although the monorail is also like 1/4 the length of the platform. The food here is great, the shopping is insane. KL rocks la, in other words.
