// not my fault!!

Haha! I woke up today to a couple of text messages. Aizat told me Holland won, while a few others asked me if i watched the Holland-Sweden showdown to have caused the goaless draw. Heh. amusing. I didn't watch the match!! So its not my fault!! HAhahaha!

Finally a goaless draw that I didn't watch. Well, actually I fell asleep within 3 minutes of the match. I'm such a pig.

Tomorrow's the start of the Block Tests for us J2s (common tests for the J1s), that all of us have been eagerly anticipating. GP's up first. I'm worried.

// finally

Finally! A team that I supported won! I was surprised that there were no Portugese fans holding up a "God help the Queen" banner. Ohho. Portugal's so in this.

So Long England.

// =(

Aaaaah. Germany is out. DAMMIT! Damn damn damn damn damn damn. Wow. I've never been so pissed and sad at the same time, man. Hats off the the czechs who managed a 2-1 win over the 3-time champion. Wow. Its just so hard for a German fan like me to swallow. So, so hard. I just hope through this Germany will realise how weak their squad is.

From their faltering German defence to a weak attacking force. I just hope this won't be the case for the World cup in 2006. Please don't let this be. It'll be an utter shame to not qualify for the quarterfinals at home.

As for the Dutch, Nistelrooy played really well. Looks like he's on form too. So it looks like the Dutch qualifies, and the Germans are sent packing. Sigh, the ignominy of defeat of a three time champion is very difficult to bear. I'll be really looking forward to the first quarter finals match - Portugal VS england. It'll be the ultimate clash of the Number 7 jerseys in Man U. Christiano ronaldo and David Beckham. Woohoo.

But nothing to woohoo about. My Germany is out.

As what my dad said, "Germany Kapoot." Ya. Thanks.

Looks like its Auf Wiedersehen (hoho! I still got some grip over my German!) Germany. Till the World Cup, then.

// lagging change

Hoho! This is the new background. So here's the story. I stayed up till 1.. in the hope of watching the england-croatia match at 230. but I fell asleep and Whoa, I woke up just on time. So I watched like 3 minutes of the darn match, and i fell alseep. The next thing i knew when i woke up, the match was at its 87th minute. Score was 4-2 to England. Wahhhh.. thanks.

So I slept back and woke up for Subuh. And Then, slept back. I'm such a pig. Anyhoos, when I woke up again, at 10, i think, I suddenly was struck with inspiration to get my blog into the euro mood as well. So there I was clicking away on Adobe Photoshop. Woohoo! Photoshop does magic!

Yes. And There's the magic.

// ARGH

My parents are out for the weekend till Wednesday, on their second honeymoon. They told me and my sister to take their room. So later at night, my dad sends me a text message saying that malaysian channels do live telecasts of the Euro 2004 matches. (my mum doesn't want to subscribe the sports channel on cable for fear that i'll watch soccer into the wee hours of the night and not study..) So every night for me is spent tuning the darn TV in their room, positioning the antenna so that I can get TV3 nice and clear... and with colour. So to speak, it don't make me look less than an idiot. haha. But its worth it. For soccer, anything's worth it.

I think the game has something against me. Everytime i watch a match, it'll either end up in a goaless draw or the team i'm supporting loses. SERIOUSLY! I watched Germany and Latvia. Hello!? The germans were so going to whip Latvia's sorry ass. But ya.. shocking as it seemed.. Latvia managed to hold germany-the 3 time champs to a goaless draw. Yikes. I'm a jinx. This morning's match between Spain and Portugal was like that too! I only catched the first half. And it was goaless. So I went to sleep. And Lo and Behold! When I watched CNA this morning, Portugal scored in the second half! ARGH!! frustrations frustrations.

Aaaah. then again, although i was rooting for the home team, (both sides played spectacularly well..) I'd think they won not cause they were better, but because Spain was weak. HELLO!? Where was morientes when you need him?!.. by the sidelines. Spain should have chosen a better first 11..

bleah. I'll watch england VS Croatia tomorrow morning and make sure england loses. if its goaless. I wont watch anymore soccer. (right) heh. :p

Oh. My recent creation: I designed a blog for my sister. heh. Go check it out. The layout I made for her is something that I've had in mind for a long time. Wanted to keep it for my own, but, me being the good sister..

FAMINE CAMP

I just got back from Famine Camp @ Ngee Ann Poly this morning at midnight. I just woke up. Its 3pm already. Wow. I slept like a log. During the 2 day camp, I was deprived from sleep and food. The food part, I don't really mind, cause that's what we attended the famine camp for - to fast for 30 hours. The sleep was because the activities were extended and after bathing and praying and stuff, I had little time to sleep, but i just couldn't fall asleep. MAYBE because Jasmine was high and talked the whole night morning through with me and Halim. There were a few times when i could have dozed off but i was awoken by their laughter. haha. those two can go on for hours.

Ok, ok. so what have I learnt. I'd think this camp was really an eye opener for me. It really showed us the conditions of living of people on this planet. You'd watch the videos on poverty and AIDS and it'll actually strike you that damn! there's really people literally living in a dumpster and nothing's being done about that. There are children who are deprived of education because their parents died of AIDS and they have to work to support their other 7 siblings or so. Children still sucking on their own thumbs, and they have to play the role of a parent. Its just wrong. How can we, on one side of the world be living in such luxury and people on the other are suffering. It just makes me even more thankful of what i have now. Education, family, a nice place to stay and friends who I love. Yikes.

Children there would have to literally scour through a dumpster to find food when we already have food laid nicely on the table, and we still complain. We still are picky of what we eat. I was slapped in the face many times when I actually realised how fortunate we are and some of us aren't even thankful. The next time someone is picky over their food, I'm going to preach. Either that or I'll be really pissed. haha!

I wanna sponsor a child when I get a job.

---

Oh, before this camp, I had an outing with my primary school friends. It was fun, catching up with them. I'll post the pics up later. I'm still stoned from my 15 hour sleep. Woohoo. Now i'm hungry. I really am.

A Day Out..mugging. -sigh-

Had my last physics session with Mr Roland Lee today. Wait. You must be thinking what the heck I'm doing in Mr Lee's class. You see, my tutor Mr Ong isn't much of a great help... So something needs to be done and Mr Lee can do it. I'd say he's done a great job in revising the chapters for the Physics Block Test. I need to do well. It is certainly true, what they say. Its either make or break for Block Test 2. If I do badly, it is very likely that i'll be demoralized for the Prelims.

Went for lunch at the Harbour Front hawker centre with Jasmine and See Kee. After which, we sat at Harbour front Macs to mug. Seek left early to play basketball. Seems like she and I are in the same boat. heh. Nevermind about that. Petty, petty creatures.

Then there were two. Me and Jasmine. Ah. Once there's Me and there's Jasmine Ling Feng Shuang-the-pretty-one-in-Mrs-Lee's-eyes-who's-in-love-with-some-eskimo-who-plays-basketball, thats it la. We were crapping and laughing about everything and anything. Seems like bimbotic, squealy, girly talk, something that I would never associate myself with but it was a far cry from that. That girl needs some serious help. haha! Who else would proclaim to the world, "Eh! I'm straight already ok.."

Err.

Ya. Oh, relax, she IS straight. She was just being an idiot.

Famine camp's this Saturday. The programme was a tad bit boring. I'd perceive it to be something more interesting but.. oh heck. I can't do anything about it. Oh. My class is in the same group. yay! Me and Jasmine were hoping to be in the same group. That way, the 30 hour fast would feel like "30 seconds" according to her. That's it. When we found out we were in the same group. Haha. We just started laughing. There will be no peace in Malawi 55.

Ah Dang! my sister took the Knight Bus. Today was the last day. Damn.

*quick update

I haven't mugging for the past two days. I'm super darn tired cos I mugged for ten hours on thursday. Sigh. I need proper time management!

Someone please take away my computer, my handphone, and the television. I'll be grateful to you. seriously. Just came back from dinner with the whole family. My mum bought a truckload of sweets. Woohoo. Something to keep me company whilst i tackle those crummy books. Okie. I should be off to study now.

p/s: Those Singapore Idol hopefuls are simply an embarassing lot. I'm sorry but i don't have support for local talent. I'll support the show la, but i doubt the singapore idol would get much recognition anyways.

Just a gentle reminder to all you j2s out there.

this is the jar of sweets i was talking about. heh.

This is my messy room. Someone please tell me how someone in the right mind would study in this pig sty. GRr. Oh. Highlight of the pic is of course my Arsenal ball and the German flag. heh. The top two reasons why i watch soccer. heh.

My sister's table. ya. No difference from mine.

Oh yes. My study schedule. As you can see, nothing much has been done. -__-

change! again!

Heh. My hands got itchy on Photoshop again... so, here's the new layout.

Oh, due to my screen resolution, um, what you see on your comp might differ from what i see on my comp. i.e. you might see that my divs are not aligned properly. sorry about that. I'll try to get that fixed asap.

Ah. I'm tired.

Oh btw, my mum recently got into a car accident at Adam Road. She's unhurt, Alhamdulillah, thanks be to God. Some guy who just got his driver's license beat the light and rammed right into the right side of the car. The CRV spinned 360 degrees upon impact before coming to a halt. Like some Hollywood horror movie. Yikes. But this was no movie. My mum was inside! The rear tyre broke. Yes. You read right. It broke, it didn't puncture. As what Aizat would say, the car is satayed now.

Here's some pics.
Sigghhhhhh...the poor, poor CRV. Damn you new drivers. haha. erps. I'm gonna be one someday.
