Ya-Ya teens kids
Well I am writing this in conjunction with Baba's terkepit story. Well, she got her ARM pinned in between her family car door, which is kesian, by the way because it would hurt like mad. Well it was quite similar to the case my dad had to handle today.I think kids should NOT be allowed to go out on their own, until they are mature enough to make logical decisions. Here's why:
5 14 yr old KIDS were going up the escalator at the MRT station where we usually go for fishball noodles -nudge nudge-. Well okay the fifth one is still below, so cannot see him in the drawing, ok. So happily they ride the escalator, until...
the first four kids say that the escalator "started to vibrate".
So, what did they decide to do? they...
JUMP! onto the platform thinger where you step OFF the escalator. Yes, 4 of them jumped onto the platorm thing. Seriously, whats wrong with just gently stepping off like everyone?
So because they decided to jump, it compromised the platform in some way, im not an engineer la ok.
that black/yellow thing is the escalator step, moving. So understandably, the platform got wedged by the moving step, and since 4 of them already landed on the platform, the poor 5th one, whom I haven't drawn was stuck on the escalator with no escape, since the platform thinger has trapped him. So his foot got stuck between the step and the platform, and the escalator stopped.
So for their rash and i-don't-know-what-they-were-thinking decision, they had to call the appropriate people (who were at HOME) down on a frickin Saturday afternoon. SCDF came to the rescue too, I think.
Man, really susahkan orang la, these kids.
That's why I say, until they know how to make logical decisions, then they should be allowed out on their own.
Next time don't jump off the escalator hor.
