One more to go..

But it feels like the exams are over. Okay, I just needed a break from all that mugging. Physical Chem today was BAD. I don't think there was anything as bad anyway.

Okay lets not dwell on depressing stuff. I was UBER bored when I got home, and scientific terms, ecology and DNA didn't seem THAT appealing just yet. So, sempena the ending of the first academic year, I decided to do a summary-ish thinger of semester2. This doesn't do much justice to how much fun I had, but..whatever la.

Lets just hope my exam results won't make me cry.

Anyway, I had lunch with Shah and her parents just now. (Thanks makcik and pakcik/auntie and uncle/shah's mum and shah's dad!) It was SO much fun! Well, just because. Shah's mum is TOO cute.

I am like, the smartest.

OMG LA! I just came back from CM1161's exam. Wait, let me start on the funky part first!

The exam was held in a COMPUTER LAB! WTH! Nevermind, I had the WHOLE row to myself muahaha.

SO ANYWAYS THATS THE END OF THE FUNKY PART.

I JUST REALISED HOW FREAKING SMART I AM. Lets call it OVERZEALOUS. I was sooooo ONZ ONZ GILER NAK MAMPOS to start the freaking paper that I conveniently DIDN'T read the COVER PAGE! (plus it was also because my answer booklet was on the question paper)

So I did the paper and all.

I reached home, my dad asked how the paper was. (He's got the day off because he had to do some inspection somewhere at some unearthly hour this morning)

I told him la, it was sucky and I was afraid i'd make careless mistakes. So he asked to have a look at the paper.

The first thing he did was to read the cover page -- ALOUD.

Missing huruf.

I was on a study break just now. And Azhar came over to talk. Hes ALWAYS walking around and disturbing people study! haaha. So anyway, he was fiddling around with my laptop and trying to use word to write my name in Jawi.

After much clicking around, he finally got it, and i told him to put that as my nick on MSN. (My name in jawi)

So after he did, he left to disturb some other person.

Dazril went online and saw my nick.

Dazril: Eh amy, ur nick missing one huruf ah..

Me: Huh? Its correct lor!

Dazril: No..Its missing a "Kaf" at the end..

Ahh the news is finally out! I received a call from IRO's Manager today and he told me that the immersion cannot be shifted, which means that ultimately I can't go for FOC! I'll be leaving for Switz on the 1st of july and i'll only be back on the 29th. AHHH shucks ducks schmucks.

How sad, right? I was just planning how Atikk and I could relive our FOC moments, and how I was going to share a room with Diatch and bahhhhhhhhh. I'm so heartbroken right now. Ah at least I'll still be in the planning comm.

Dah ah. takde mood nak merepek.

It is just past 930pm right now and Diatch, Dazril and I are huddled in the same cubicle. Okay not huddle huddle lah. But just sitting around.

So anyway, Dazril decided to watch the sampuk video .

It was at the cubicle next to mine. I've decided to permanently mug at YIH Workspace because its just so tiring to walk to Science Library. Haha! So anyways, Yana and I were sharing a cubicle and she wanted to move to the next cubicle cause the guy was just leaving. When she moved, she saw this monstrous creature. Ohh grossssss. I HATE LIZARDSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Plus this one was HUGE and FAT and eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

So Dazril at the cubicle next to mine came to our rescue and disposed of the creature, with the help of Diatch as well. AH GROSS. It was dead all along, which makes it even more gross. EWWW.

Anyway, after lunch he excitedly came over to my cubicle and pinned this in front of me. He says its for motivation.

Actually he just doesn't wanna admit that he loves moobs.

My supermum turned 44 yesterday and while she and my superdad was at the mosque my sister and I went to get the surprise cake from Swensens. Yey yey.

Somehow, the bed that my sister and I share appears to be more comfortable today. Because my parentS are both taking their Sunday nap on OUR bed. :S

My mum was already asleep when my dad entered my room, placed his specs just beside me on the study table and plopped down on my sister's pillow 40 minutes into her sleep.

Mum: Alar your father ni sebok ah. Orang tengah tidur dia goyang the mattress.
Dad: Ah tukar tilam ah -proceeds to move around somemore to annoy my mum-
Mum: Tsk! I ketuk kuali baru tau!

HAHA and i burst out laughing. WTH. Nak step that advertisement on TV konon. You know the one where the husband tosses and turns in bed, shaking the matress and disrupting the wife's sleep. So she takes a frying pan and knocks him on the head.

Bad bad baddddd.

Its soooo close to the exams and here I am tweaking away on Photoshop. Actually its because my Nerdy-perdy splash picture was eaten up by Ripway, my image host. I forgot to login to my account, so they marked it inactive and had it removed, so all my 46546456 photoshop-made pictures in there are gone.

But nevermind.

So I clicked around on Photoshop and made a new splash! Yay. Okay its not that great la I made it in macam ten minutes.

No time for fancy artwork okay. I've got exams to study for!

Anyway, some technical details that I've noticed. When I use Mozilla to view my blog, the font on the right showing the links are different from when I use IE. AND, the entry border gets cut off somewhere halfway down the entries. How come ah.

Ahh don't know la. No time to fiddle around with the HTML also.

It looks mighty fine on IE, so use IE! yey.

BARRRGHH.

I was having one of the most monotonous days EVAAHHH. mugmugmugmug. take some crummy chocolates. eateateat. mugmugmugmug. make milo. drinkdrinkdrink.

OH GOD.

I decided to take a break, so I came out of hiding on MSN. hehe.

Upon that divine change of MSN status, some unfamiliar nick msged me.

It was my JC classmate Vicky whos back in India studying Law. Totally! And all those JC memories came back! Well he was dying to show off his webcam also.

So he was asking about the class and where we all are. And he reminded me of a time when SA was shooting a video to psych us up for the exams, and Hody and I were caught on tape! Tsk! Mugging la, in the Cafe! hahahaha. WTH it was so amusing to see how nerdy I really was together with the whole college.

I swear we were the nerds in the class! We studied together 24-7 sey. In school, on Sundays at bukitbatok CC and sometimes Hody would even come to my place and we would study in the clubhouse downstairs. (he lives in the semi detached houses just across the road from my house.) Waahhhh! Totally miss those times!

Ahh too bad Hody is in Engin. or Ahhh too bad i'm in Science. if not we could totally be nerds again. Actually in JC we did plan to go to Chem engin together. But I backed out because of the Physics. eee.

Ahhh. O3S14. People whom I'll never forget.

Yessslaa, and to show Hody what a great friend he was I chose sabo-ed him to take my place as class rep in JC2. Hence the old-fashioned classreps sit beside the civics tutor arrangement. But that bugger still pushed all the admin stuff to me. Bahh. Haha! Yes and Vicky is tall.

Lazy Friday.

I'm feeling so lazy now, I really don't know why! This morning sucked because of German test. No amount of love I have for it can compensate for the shittiness it made me feel. I swear! The test might as well just be in greek!

Cloze was bad. Sentence writing was bad. The whole prepositions/possessivbegleiter/WHATEVER was sooo #E^%%$&$% I wanted to CRY. Question writing was bad. Tenses was ok, but still bad. MCQ killed. I'm just banking on the compre. THAT was quite okay.

As what Baba said, in uni we aren't graded on how well we score, but how we score relative to others. I hope thats good.

So the day started off pretty shitty, seriously. I haven't eaten a proper meal the whole day laaaaaa. Shah DITCHED me to go arts for lunch, takpe. Haha, ok kidding la babe.

Just got back from the Immersion briefing not too long ago. I'll be going to Fribourg, thats a city in Switzerland that's probably nearest to Geneva. The people in Fribourg speak both German and French. Ten of us are going together, 5 are french speaking, 5 are german speaking. Its cool, the people are really nice.

And YESSSLA, we won't be having homestay. We'll all be staying in the same hostel, different rooms la duh. We'll go for classes together, from 9-1 and the rest of the day is FREE! woohoo!

One biggggg pooper. The immersion is scheduled to be throughout the month of July. which means that i'll MISS FOC! NO WAYYYY! Most of us already told the manager to try shift it to mid june to mid july. Hopefully that works, so I can be there for FOC as well.

Now i'm at the workspace trying to finish up my lab report. I'm left with discussion yesssslaaaaa, then i'm ETERNALLY done with the reports, for this sem. Diatch is at the cubicle next to me. Shes making weird noises.

A hodge podge.

Well I was telling Ain what happened today and she said that it probably is the difference between JC and Uni. The Uni is so huge, you're always making friends.

So here's the story:

Last semester, I accompanied Ain to the YIH CBLC to print some of her stuff. Being year 1s and all, we were pretty kental because we didn't know how to use the printer and all. And as usual, we were being very noisy about it. In other words, we were slenger and kental. Plus the both of us were to scared/shy to ask anyone how to use the printer.

So that's that.

Today, as usual, I was at kentridge terminal waiting for 189 and someone tapped my shoulder. So I turned and the guy said "Assalamualaikum." So I answered and he started asking me how I was and stuff.

I think he sensed that I was puzzled so he told me "Remember, I saw you at YIH while you and your friend were printing, but takut takut?" It took me a while to recall that situation and after a while I did remember and I was really surprised that he remembered me.

So he asked for my name and we started talking. He was doing his PhD in Econs and he's from Ghana and he was telling me how happy he was to see Muslim brothers and sisters around etc etc. He even asked about Ain. I'm amazed at his memory, really.

But wait. Hes African, so HOW on earth did he understand Malay, since Ain and I DID make a huge fuss about her being scared to ask. Turns out that he did his degree in KL! We took the same bus home because he stayed just beside Ginza Plaza. So before he alighted he left me his card (WOW I DIDN'T KNOW PhD Candidates get namecards!) and told me to give him a buzz whenever I was free for lunch.

I mean. I'm sure its all decent and no ulterior motive but sorry man, I'm just not the kind of girl who would ring up an acquaitance for lunch. Don't get me wrong, but Umar's a really nice and baik guy. Its just not me to you know, call up some guy and "Hey, you free today for lunch?" Unless, of course he's a close friend.

I mean I have 1001 reasons why I DON'T want to sms/call him, but the first reason is just because. 2nd, 3rd, 4th reasons are the more complex ones. haha.

Haha. So that's just basically it. On a different note, this is probably why I'll never be going out for a date because I'll just wait and wait and wait for the guy to ask. If he doesn't, then he doesn't. haha. I'm so weird, I know.

Whatever it is, I love making new friends! Woohoo!

Plus its funny how I'm always making friends at bus-related places. On the bus, waiting for a bus, etc etc. haha! Well whatever it is, its always a good start. :)

All Chemistry aside, I MUST say that I really really really really really LOVE GERMAN!!!!!!! Its probably the only lesson I look forward to, even though I have to come to school on Wednesday JUST for German. Well its the only time I get to spend with my non-science babes Baba and Kamieee.

So anyways, today we were doing this verb-match-to-preposition activity and we were obviously the first group to finish, simply because we're too popular. (please gag now)
