Did I get the year right?

WAHOO! The theme was ethnic and I think guys should come to school in ethnic costumes man. They just look so wow. I WAS taken aback ah, seriously.

First I want to talk about my friend Ahmad.



I mean, doesn't he look so extraordinarily handsome compared to how he looks like in school usually?! WOW! The songkok all. Totally hot man. Siapa nak kahwin dia? Ask me for application form ok.

So basically, he's already dressed to kill, because he's emcee and all, and of course he decides to make it an eventful thing.

This was what happened on stage.

But it was too late.

And the poor boy covered his face with his songkok and wanted to commit suicide once his emceeing was over. I had such a hard time dragging him out of the sound control room! Haha. Kesian kau Ahmad. Nasib baik hari ni kau hot jugak.

I need a boyfriend.

You know what! People have CONTINUOUSLY been mistaken, thinking that I'm attached to so-and so!

OMG!!!

First some people thought I was attached to ADI because of Switzerland. WHAT!? you think I went for HONEYMOON ah?!

Nevermind.

After that died down, recently, some guy in Chem lect thought Ahmad and I were a couple because we were always fighting! He was sitting behind us when Ahmad and I were squabbling.

WA LAO!!!! Fight means couple ah?! SIAOOOO.

Nevermind.

THEN NOW! Its like the icing on the cake man.

Some guy from Applied Chem thinks that I am Dazril's girlfriend!!!!

For the record, I have no intentions of being the girlfriends of any of the above guys, and neither do they!

Jalan Raya!

I decided to do away with studies and SEP related issues just for today simply because its Syawal and I have a life too. So we started at 11, drove all the way across the island, visiting the easties before coming back to the West to visit Cik Nab. We kinda met Cik Nab on the last trip to China and my mum and her became like really close.

Then one day I was in school with Shah til pretty late and since my mum was fetching me, we sent Shah home and THEN we all realised that Shah's family and Cik Nab's are like longtime family friends cum neighbour. Cik Nab's at level 2 and Shah's at level 8.

So just now since we were already at Cik Nab's might as well go up and visit SarLeeNakkkkk.

Hung out for abit in Shah's room, with stars that she stuck on the wall herself (not shown in picture).

As usual ah our mothers macam became demure until all the embarassing stories came out.

Overdue

I know its already like what? 2 days past raya? And my raya pics aren't up yet!

You know why? Because there aren't any pics to begin with! haha! Okaylah, got la.. but just the family pics.



We just went to the usual default houses. Visit visit, salam salam, cry cry, okay lah, thats about it.

School's such a drag, with the study plan thing and now have to submit CVs for professional placement in year 3 sem 1. OMG LA. 83274293874987 other assorted things to do. Ithink i need 48 hrs in a day.

Today wasn't so bad because I finally got to meet people I haven't seen for so long. Met banz and yana at workspace, sat a while with haikal and then ahmad (yucks) came. Haha! We're totally bitchy towards each other! Its so fun! Bickering every other second. Yesssaaah.

Alar ahmad, don't sad la okay. You know I'm just kidding right. Cos somewhere inside me, i think there's still a bit of twisted love left for you. Because seriously NO ONE has ever walked in the Geylang bazaar with me, tugging at my bag asking "Mak, nak beli langsir maner?" hoping that he will make people think I'm his mother. Ew. Am I really THAT old.

Yey and Muzzywuzzy and hakim came also! Wahoo! Really added some fun into my mundane school life man.

I went back to Science to get my study plans endorsed at about 5. I was done only at 6, and i still have to REDO my plans. OMG LA. TEDIOUS CRAP! Then my phone rang!

*buzzbuzzz (pasal vibration mode lah!)*

Alfian: Eh kau pakai baju hitam sehhh

And that boy was just behind me. Haha, we had a drink at the Science canteen before parting ways.

Anyway, last Monday during German class, the babes and I decided to wear kurung on Wednesday, that's two days from now. A few days ago Fairuz sent this email:

Okay all happiness aside, lets be serious for a bit.

This Ramadhan just zoomed past man. I'm sure there are some things I did during this month which I'm not exactly proud of, which I shouldn't have done and might have hurt some people in the process.

So just as a blanket, I seek forgiveness from each and everyone of you guys, whom I may have caused some unsavoury feelings, intentional or unintentionally (I swear!). You know I don't mean it, and I'm probably just kidding...I'm actually a very nice person okay. So anyways, Selamat Hari Raya, maaf zahir dan batin!

A few days ago, I was completely bummed and totally unexcited about Raya. But I came home from school today and my house looks so Raya-ish, so I'm totally back in the mood mans.

I got home relatively early today, after Pharma test which stank. So I sat down in front of the computer at 4pm and started the hunt for modules. At 6.53pm, I heard the azan and broke my fast. And I only managed to map 3 modules from ETH Zurich.

I had NO idea it was going to be THIS tedious.

Plus the module search is auf Deutsch, so hab spaß la, really.

I have 2 more modules to find from ETHZ and 5 more to find from Uni Zurich and 5 more from TU Munich. See Science Fac requires you to do study plans for all three universities of your choice. No exceptions. So yah lah. Hab spaß indeed.

Mapping shall continue tomorrow, I have to work on my Pharma Presentation now.

Chem Test on Monday, Raya on Tuesday, German test on Weds. Whoopeedoo.

i absolutely love Wednesdays.

Maybe its because of the 4hr German stint.

Maybe its because lectures aren't so strenuous (today we watched a video on the SDU. funny stuff!). Mukmin and Hafihz were totally glad they were attached. Boohoo for me.

Oh, oh! Maybe its just because im in a fabulously good mood because my term paper is nearing completion! Woohoo! I couldn't be any happier! Well, putting aside my Pharma test on Friday, of course.

You know, Adi and I are totally jahat. After German tutorial, we had nothing to do, so we went to the central library and sat on those bendy, soft, colourful blocks thingums just as you enter the library. Basically we people watched la and he spent 10% of the time imitating how i speak. Since we were facing each other, he had the view of the entrance and I had the view of the inside of the library. I'll be like "eh yang itu hot!" or "ew!" and he'll be like "Eh, 3 o clock 3 o clock!" and then I'd turn and we'd burst out laughing.

Seriously man! Lace leggings and a mini skirt?! Leggings should not even exist in the first place!

Arts people are so amusing. I love them.

I am getting used to the concept of Crocs and jeans. I actually am beginning to think they look somewhat nice. Crocs still look the best on kids though. But today, we saw a girl in a mini-micro skirt in hot pink crocs!!!!

Okay lah, I shan't comment on the dressing of others before I comment on myself. Today I think I was dressed like a french maid. Some black short spag dress which I layered with my white long sleeve. Dah, happy? Adi was his usual hot self so I shan't comment on that. MWahahaha.

Oh OH OH OH! And we also met Yi Ding! My secret crush (Read: Joke, geddit?) from german tutorial with the sexiest deep voice and the adorablest smile and nicest adidas jackets who waved at us when he entered the library! Woohoo!

People watching is SO fun. Loves it. :D:D

Live from Campus! (and anger management issues)

Wow! I haven't been bringing my laptop to school because I'm lazy to plug it out since I've already set it up nicely at home.

Also, I haven't had the time to blog because of 82374923874983274 things I have to do. Life is so crazy.

Plus nothing exciting's been happening, so I wouldn't want to bore cyberspace with uninteresting stuff.

So right now, I'm at the Singapore-Malaysia collection area in the Central Library. Most of the books I need to write for my Soci term paper are located there. So I found this nice spot by the powerpoint right, to do my work and this 3 guys and 2 girls occupied the seats beside me after about 30 minutes of pure silence. (4 people can sit on one side of the table, because its two tables put together)



SERIOUSLY IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS ABOUT WHY FIREFOX IS BETTER THAN IE OR WHY ITS BETTER TO GO TO A PARISIAN UNIVERSITY WITH ENGLISH COURSES FOR SEP OR MEET YOUR FRIENDS AT COFFEE CLUB, PLEASE DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND NOT IN THE FRICKING LIBRARY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS SUPPOSED TO BE SHUT.

ALSO IF YOU WANT TO GUFFAW VERY LOUDLY LIKE AN APE, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO DO SO. THE LIBRARY IS NOT THE PLACE TO FLIRT WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS AND IT IS NOT THE PLACE TO HAVE A GLORIOUS DEBATE ON WHY SPYDOCTOR IS NOT GOOD. IT IS NOT THE PLACE TO TALK ABOUT PROXY SERVERS AND WHETHER YOU HAVE ONE, AND IT IS NOT THE PLACE TO TALK ABOUT WHICH CABLE IS BETTER, LONGER AND WHAT NOT.

I AM ALSO SURE THERE IS A VERY GOOD REASON AS TO WHY THIS PLACE IS CALLED A QUIET AREA.

As how Adi Widya puts it, 20 is the loser age. Have a '2' in front but not legally adult yet, since 21's the cut off age for a lot of things.

My sister jumped on the bed while I was sleeping to wake me up (and cause annoyance) just to say Happy Birthday. Then she asked "Eh you're 20 right?" I sleepily gave an "uh huh" to which she replied "Wah thats damn old".

On the way to get my towel, I saw a big red Secret Recipe box on the coffee table!

My mum bought a cake!! Woohoo!

So after buka we cut the cake and Daddy read some prayers. I already told them to doa for me when they go for pilgrimage at the end of the year. Pray that I'll get a good husband, with a whole checklist of requirements! Haha!

No la actually I'm not fussy. Just someone who'll love me for me, and who'll do a kickass job in leading my family along the right path, yang diredhai Allah swt. Amasham.

So that's basically how my 20th went. No better way to spend it than with the people I love. =)

Iftar!

Today was MS Iftar! I am so shagged right now to make this interesting, plus I wasn't really in the mood to take photos because of some reasons yang tertentu.

Seriously balls.

Anyway, it was fun lah, meeting up with people I haven't seen for eons. (Sorry my exco, its really not my fault that exco meetings are always on my tuition days! (Cause at least 3 people came up to me saying "long time no see because you always dont come for meetings")) With the exception of Ahmad because I see him like 4 times a week. I see his face until so super sianz already. -gags- (You know I'm just kidding right! Tembak!)

I ate (macam babi) with Sam&Nad (thanks for the cookies!) and Yana-the-food-invader. She kept invading MY part of the dulang and kept stealing MY rice!!!!



I tried to be the biggest pig I ever could be, but I still couldn't finish the food, since the 3 of them surrendered halfway into the fight.

Highlight of the night was Terawih which haikal imam-ed. Oh God, I am SO in love with his voice.

And totally! Check us out! We were totally in matching jubahs, and he was wearing a white songkok and I was wearing a white tudung! Totally dressed for ROMM man! MWahahha.

Anyway, you want to know why I'm so stressed? And bored? And sick of school life? Because basically this week and the weeks to come will be hell.

I've got a test tomorrow. Tutorial tomorrow, which I haven't done. German Vocab test on monday. 2000 word term paper due next friday. On the same Friday I have a Pharma test. The following week, just one day before Raya, my Pharma presentation is due.

SAtay buka!

Yesterday I met up with the dearest people in my life evahhhhh to break fast together. We reached Sultan mosque JUST in time for mahgrib. After I prayed, I bumped into DIATCH in the dewan solat!!! Woohoo! Being the kecoh people that we were, we made a substantiable amount of noise and hugged. haha.

Aku rindu kau ah babe.

Anyway! We broke fast at Banquet Raffles Hospital! Then we left for Swensens for dessert, where Baba the sweetheart surprised her loverboy and me with a birthday cake! (Yesterday's Hirmy's birthday, what perfect timing!). I was so tersentuh! I mean, my birthday's not until a couple of days, so it was definately a surprise. Thanks guys.

And thanks boys for the pretty Havaianasssssssssssssss. I loves loves loves ittttt!



Anyway since Irwan couldn't join us due to don't know what reasons, we made room for him.
